What happens in the film

• The karaoke roomA karaoke box with a big TV, velvet sofas and their friends: a tambourine, maracas, glowsticks and bubble tea. The TV plays the song, “Pass the Mic”, with the lyrics in the duet’s colours: Coco in amber, Mimi in violet, both together.
• Your phone is the micOne phone becomes the microphone and every other phone in the room becomes the speaker.
• Pass the micMimi passes the mic in the app, it flies over to Coco’s phone, and the TV hands the next line from violet to amber.
• A duet, or every phone a micThey sing together, each into their own phone, and one by one their friends’ phones turn into mics too.
• Lyrics and sound in syncThe same line lights up on every phone at the same instant, and adaptive sync keeps listening to the room.
• The drop and the scoreConfetti on the drop, everyone up and cheering, and the TV gives the duet a perfect 100.
